F1 New Jersey and New Jersey Motorsports Park is proud to announce the beginning of our 2011 season kicking off on March 19th, 2011. We are very excited to be adding a new element to the facility and our programs. 2011 will be the first season that F1NJ will be hosting a 12 race series for asphalt oval drivers. Dedication, commitment, and communication with drivers from our local oval racing communities went into the development of this year’s series and it all paid off.
On April 16th, F1NJ will celebrate this monumental event by hosting a Big Money Race to kick off the series. There will be a minimum of 6 karts per class and the winner will be guaranteed $300! As the entries go up, so does the prize money! Entry fee is $100 per class which includes the driver’s pit pass. Half of every entry will be paid into the prize fund and the more entries per class, the more places are paid back. Details of the payouts and breakdown per entry is available on this site. Pre-entry forms are also available on this website. With each pre-entry, the driver will receive an additional pit pass for FREE. A running log of all who have entered and payout totals will be available for your viewing here.
We are also proud to announce the partnership between TSRacing/Vega tire with F1NJ. They have generously provided contingency money to the winners of each class. If you win with Vega tires, you will receive an additional $50 contingency. As sponsors come forward, we will be announcing their partnerships on our website. As of right now, an additional $400 towards the prize fund of the Senior Champ class has been given. We would like to thank all of the sponsors that have supported us thus far and encourage those who would like to participate in this amazing program to contact us.
Race format, as well as rules and regulations, will be updated as the event comes together. So be sure to stay tuned to njkarting.org. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please contact Scott Paape. |
