The staff at New Jersey Motorsports Park and F1 Karting would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are so pumped up for the 2011 season. We would like to thank all of you for the awesome 2010 season and we promise that 2011 will be bigger and brighter than ever. F1 Karting will be introducing many new entities that will add to the full experience for both veteran and beginner drivers.

First off—our Championship Karting Series will return with a ten race series beginning in late March. The series will be comprised of races on both the Avenger and Tempest courses. Complementing our local series will be the return of the World Karting Association’s regional event: "New Jersey Sprint Series" with dates in June and September. In addition to the Championship Karting Series and NJSS, "The Northeast Rotax Series" will visit F1 New Jersey for two out of the six races in their series. Oakland Valley Raceway and F1 Boston will also host this series throughout the season with races beginning the weekend of May 21st and ending with a championship race the weekend of October 22nd. All karters who race in our Championship Karting Series, both members and non-members alike, will be able to celebrate their accomplishments and new found friendships at the end of the season with the Championship Awards Banquet. The tentative schedule for F1 New Jersey’s competition karting programs has been announced and updates will continue to be made on njkarting.org. Be sure to look for special announcements regarding sponsorships, incentives, and membership information.

F1 New Jersey will be adding a totally new element to its repertoire with the additional of our Oval Racing Program. Oval drivers will compete on F1's quarter mile Tri-Oval in a 12 race series. To kick off the oval racing season, we will host a money race on the 16th of April. We encourage all karters to come and check out these oval racers; they have been known to be some of the most insane competitors in the sport. If you are interested in Oval racing, stay tuned to njkarting.org. Additional information is also available on 4cycle.com.

For those parents who have been anticipating a racing experience for their 5-8 year olds, the time is now! Pee Wee Racing Stars is a competition karting program that introduces totally new drivers to the fundamentals of racing through a 4-hour classroom and on-track driving development camp. Karts are provided by the facility as well as qualified driving instructors. Small class sizes (between 3 and 5 children) and personal instruction will be beneficial to both kids and parents alike. Once youth drivers complete the introductory program, they will be able to participate in youth racing session during the week and the possible chance to race in our Championship Karting Series.

The return of SSC East to New Jersey Motorsports Park will also be welcomed in the 2011 season. The Pro-Shop, located next to the F1 garage, will be headed up by Jenni Paape as always and will be stocking all of your race day needs. Hardware, including nuts and bolts, will be a new addition to the NJ SSC East inventory. Not only is the Pro-Shop an asset to drivers at F1NJ; we will also be hosting one of the sports' most talented drivers, Arie Ouimet, as our resident driving professional. Ouimet will be available for private coaching, schools, consultations, and professional chassis tuning. His driving experience boasts two U.S. national championships: 2008 Rotax National Championship where he represented the United States in the World Finals held in Egypt combined with a 2010 national championship title in KF3 in the Championship Karting International race series. We are very thankful and proud to have Arie as an addition to the F1NJ family.

Once again, we at F1NJ would like to thank the competitors and the supporters of our 2010 season. We truly appreciate all that you have done for us, for each other, and for karting as a sport. The 2011 season will prove to be just as amazing for all of us. Thank you all and we look forward to seeing you in the spring!
